Hey, I'm Heida...

...a mom of four who found her groove in digital marketing. Before diving into this world, my life revolved around the chaos of raising my kids, especially during the pandemic. I left my job in retail banking to manage virtual schooling and a new baby. The household responsibilities felt like a never-ending loop, and I was losing myself in the process. My days blurred together, and I was desperate for a change and way to bring in some extra cash.

Then the entrepreneurship bug bit me...

I needed something for me—a creative outlet and a way to help others. My love for problem-solving, coaching friends and family, and over 20 years of customer service experience led me to digital marketing. I wanted to learn new skills to be marketable once my youngest started school. Starting my own online business seemed like the perfect fit. I dreamed of building something meaningful, finally taking that honeymoon (ten years overdue), and finding joy in my daily grind.

Then I tried all the things that, well, didn't work...

I dove headfirst into digital marketing, taking every course and masterclass I could find. I tried creating (lacklustre) digital planners in Canva to sell on Etsy, blogging (without knowing who I was really talking to or about) and none of it got me anywhere. Without a clear strategy and trying to implement every piece of advice I came across, I was spinning my wheels. My Instagram wasn’t growing, and I felt like a failure. I realized I needed a clear niche and a solid social media strategy. Success couldn’t just be about money or followers; it had to be about growth and learning. I had the embrace the mindset: you’re either winning or you’re learning.

Finally, I cracked the code!

The breakthrough came when I embraced authenticity and focusing on niching down. I needed to speak to a specific audience and develop a genuine connection. His guidance and the supportive community gave me the clarity and confidence I needed. By committing to one niche, one strategy, and one hero product, I started seeing real progress.
